Setting a green example for the rest of the industry.
Kevin McCloud in Grand Design introduce rehyphen MusicCloth as Green Heroes

Kevin McCloud, MBE is a British designer, writer, and a television presenter. He has presented the Channel 4 series Grand Designs since its debut in April 1999.

As the face for grand design brand, Kevin McCloud has documented hundreds of building over the past two decades. This has given Kevin an enormously wide knowledge of materials, the latest technologies and new sustainable practice out there, making him a touchstone for innovative idea and inventive products.

We received an email from Kevin and his team that rehyphen were selected by Kevin as his “Top 7 Green Heroes 18/19” to showcase at London Grand Design Live to present our MusicCloth®. It was an unbelievable and surreal moment as we did not apply or submit any application for it and wondering how could Kevin possible discover us far away from London.

Kevin McCloud's Green Heroes celebrates the best conceptual and eco-friendly construction ideas. Kevin personally hand-picked his top heroes for each show, from small scale start-ups to big businesses setting a green example for the rest of the industry.

Let's hear what Kevin said about our MusicCloth, "Mmm... A polyester fibre with metallic oxide coatings sound like a hi-tec fabric to me. Actually, it's more hi-fi. An astonishing reinvention of tape into something fashionable and fabulous, Darling!"

To conclude Kevin's criteria of his Green Heroes selection, the brand or product he selected needs to “not only be green but really really clever + beautiful + marketable”! Thank you Kevin for recognising our team effort!
