Treat yourself a bookbath this summer holiday at Not Just Library Taiwan, located in the north of tabacco factory at SongShan cultural & creative Park.

“Not Just a Library” was original a 83 years old bathhouse which was just renovated 2 years ago and turned into a library, a lecturer hall, a concert stage, a place for gathering for people who loves art and literature. 📖

In conjunction with Taiwan Design Research Institute - “Circular Design Exhibition”, rehyphen launched a series of MusicCloth city maps and two new book tapes which was written by our founder — J.J. Chuan.

Visitors will receive an old-school library card as their entry ticket and also could customised their own book tape here with free registered ISBN (International Standard Book Number) and Free book tape cover design.

Two book tapes were launched at Not Just Library Taiwan which written by our founder - J.J. Chuan

The first book tape:

“Weird Landlord” 《怪房東》 - A short novel story about J.J. adventure in a pre-second wold war building with her landlord in New York and how they copped with each other in the first 3 month.

The second book tape:

“It is my turn to hold her” 《換我牽她》- This is J.J. grandmother’s life story which her grandmother told her. J.J. recorded her grandma story and help her to turn into words. Each book tape include a traditional recipe which she and her grandma cooked together.

What’s a Book tape?

A book tape is an extension idea of a tweet tape. Book tape are those empty tapes which we finished weaving for our MusicCloth® and allow customer to self-published their own story in a cassette tape. In rehyphen, we encourage public to write and also help you to self-publish your own book tape with Free ISBN. ( minimum 3 book tape per order. )
