Sound & Vision: The Original nostalgia story with rehyphen at the MTV Asia

Meet JJ Chuan from Rehyphen, who shares her creative journey from mixed tape nostalgia to the birth of MusicCloth. You’ll never look at cassette tapes the same way again!

MTV kickstarted a new era of music and pop culture since 1981. This platform defined the youth in the 80s and the 90s. Before MTV declare to shut down, rehyphen were included in their "MTV Original series". A 4 minutes video that bring music lovers back to the cassette tapes era and shows how cassette tapes revolved into a new sustainable fabric.

Let's sneak behind the scene of the shooting day with MTV... We sorted out our precious cassette tape from the 90s like spice girl, backstreet boy, Gun n roses .... cassette tapes specially for this shot!  

Besides, there are also MTV x rehyphen merchandise collaboration for their Christmas press release event on December! 2021 marked MTV 40 years old and we all wish MTV a Happy 40th anniversary!
