Jasmine Yen first single 'idk', first album 'tbh' & Diana Wang 'Bedroom'

Our founder J. J Chuan Yi Xin 莊逸馨 is a bilingual lyricist. Besides weaving cassette tapes, she also collect stories and turn them into words. She has been a resident in the music world since she was five years old. Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 marked a turning point to her. She started to pick up her dream in lyrics writing with the guide from her two key mentors Xiaohan 小寒 and Vincent Fang 方文山 before she released her co-write songs with Diana Wang and Donnie Yen's daughter, Jasmine Yen's first single and first album song. 

Her writing style combined her multi-national background and diverse experiences in life with a touch of retro elements that is encoded in a cassette tapes collector's genes. Her expertise lies in lyrics translation, dual language lyrics and Chinese gu-feng lyrics. The music genre that she has involved included Chinese Gu-Feng style, Rap, Jazz, R&B, Rock, Kpop, Ballad, Movie and Games songs. 

The first highlight song is Diana Wang 王诗安 ‘s new song 《Bedroom》. A Dutch born singer who based in Taiwan. This song is a song about conversation with yourself, tidying up your thoughts and ready for the future!

The second highlight song is Donnie yen 甄子丹’s daughter Jasmine Yen 甄濟如 ‘s debut single《IDK 》. “idk” is a light-hearted pop-R&B tune that explores a girl’s journey to discovering autonomy in a relationship and self-love.

Raised in Hong Kong, Jasmine began nurturing her talent at a young age, starting to compose when she was only seven years old. To date, she has written over 70 original songs, including 30 during the pandemic. Through her music, she hopes to inspire a generation of bold and confident girls.

The third highlight song is Jasmine Yen's first album 《tbh》！ This album has 8 songs. There are four songs fully in English, four songs are mix with Mandarin + English. The album release follows the announcement of her signing to RCA Records Greater China, a division of Sony Music Entertainment (SME) in late July, along with the release Jasmine Yen first new song “idk”. Jasmine’s debut album ‘tbh’ is a kaleidoscope of pop versatility. From the enthralling ballad “it’s not u it’s me“, to the sensual “tempo” to the upbeat dance numbers “idk” and “tbh”.
